The small town of Zaton has a beautiful pebble beach of about 1,5 km long ideally suited for families with children. There are many facilities like sunbathing chairs and parasols for rent, swimming pools, slides, restaurants and bars and ample opportunities for beach activities. Behind the beach a pine forest gives comfortable shade in the heat of the day. Zaton is located about 12km from Zadar and easy accessible by car.
