Since 1999 this film festival is held at the end of August and beginning of September in the picturesque town of Motovun in the interior of Istria.
Films are shown made by smaller and larger independent film studio’s existing of documentaries, short films but also full length feature films. Besides more or less known persons in the movie-world it is mostly visited by youth from Croatia and international back-packers creating a unique dynamic and free atmosphere.
