The Museum of the town Pazin is housed in it’s medieval castle – Kastel- and displays traditional Istrian folk costumes, materials used for farming and there is even a model of an old-istrian kitchen. Church bells -from 15th to the 20th century – are displayed on the ground floor. It is said that these were hidden in WWII to prevent them from being made into bullets, and these are the only bells in the region that survived the war.
