Along the coast of the town Vodice you can enjoy kilometres of beaches, which are mostly with pebbles and rocks but at some places there are concrete terraces, whereas natural shade is provided by pine trees. The town is a small historic village with plenty to offer tourists, from cultural and archaeological sites to sports activities like, diving, cycling trails, big game fishing, surfing and kayaking. Nearby you find the NP Vransko Lake (great for walking, cycling, bird watching and fishing), NP Krka (beautiful waterfalls, great for a day trip) and NP Kornati (archipelago which can be enjoyed by visiting by boat).
Beaches in and around Vodice
Blue Beach ‘Plava plaža is a pebble beach stretching to Tribunj about 4 km in length, with a shallow sea and many restaurants and bars nearby. There are plenty of beach and sport facilities you can use here – in summer time there are even schools for diving and sailing.
Hangar Beach is as nice as Blue beach, and attracts many young people, many sport facilities are offered.
Beach Imperial is located in Vodice at a camping area and offers a small pebble beach with shallow water, ideal for children
Beach Srima is located in Vodice near the marina offers a pebble beach with showers, cabins deck chairs and parasols for hire and sport facilities, ideal for families with children.
