The town of Nin is located about 17 km north of Zadar and is easy to reach by car. The Queen’s beach is a long strip of sand, with beach bars for refreshments. Due to the shallow waters it’s ideal for water sports like wind- and kite surfing. The peloid mud in this area is known for it’s healing properties for muscles and joint pains.

The story behind the name of the beach goes back to ancient history, as it is said that the wife of the Croatian king Tomislav loved to spend time here with her family!
