These are the dark days before Christmas and we are all looking for warmth, comfort food and the company of friends and family. The whole centre of the city is decorated in Christmas style, with a large skating ring, music, x-mas stalls with food items, drinks, presents, beautiful lighting and also outside the centre there are plenty of opportunities to enjoy a day out in X-mas style. Like a trip to the Villa Prekrižje, this villa has been closed for decades to the public and is used by the president of Croatia for official functions, but exclusively for this Christmas period it had been opened to the public so this is the time to visit. But also do not forget a visit to the Zoo of Zagreb, the Nikola Tesla museum where the start is of a world exhibition tour that will visit among others towns Paris, New York and Dubai.
