Last week I wrote a piece about Dubrovnik, a unique UNESCO town in southern Croatia. Now we go all the way to the north to Umag on the Istrian peninsula. Umag is a very popular tourist destination because Umag has everything to offer for a great holiday. A beautiful tens of kilometres long coastline with a well-kept promenade, ideal for walking or cycling, you can sunbathe there, swim, there are many hotels, resorts, sports facilities (great place for tennis and soccer), green parks shaded by pine trees and parks with accompanying squirrels as entertainment!
