Croatia has a very long coastline and has many beautiful smaller and larger islands. A perfect destination for a sun, sea and beach holiday! The larger and best known islands along the Croatian Adriatic coast are among others Krk, Cres and Losinj in the north and the Dalmatian islands Pag, Dugi Otok, Brac, Hvar, Korcula and Mljet.

Thanks to the large network of ferries these beautiful islands are very well reachable. In the summer months of July and August more ferries travel per destination and furthermore, more destinations are available especially to smaller islands. Not to every island ferry lines are available that are capable of transporting cars. The largest ferry company in Croatia is Jadrolinija, but besides this company many other ferry companies are available, offering not overlapping destinations. Especially in the summer months it is advisable to buy your ferry tickets on time. Sometimes you can buy them one day ahead, but it is best to arrive a 1-2 hours in advance and park your car in the waiting line and than walk to the ticket office in the harbour.
